Hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food in the restaurant was excellent, would definitely recommend the whitebait. Would stay again but in the main hotel. If you use the gate house you have to walk along the main road to get to the restaurant and in bad weather it's not such a pleasurable experience.
Umbrellas should be provided for people staying in the gate house as well as the torch to be used in bad weather especially at night.

Warm welcome. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was one of the best we've ever had. Sourcing of good quality local ingredients was done very well.

Lastra Farm is an excellant facility and we were very comfortable in the room and its surroundings. I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the care that they showed to help us enjoy the stay. The room was very clean and spacious and had everything that we needed and then some......... The location is excellant and the food was superb. Whilst we normally try and stay somewhere different each time we visit an area i would have no hesitation in making a return trip to Lastra Farm....
